Pierluigi Turco among the speakers at the Kosovo Architecture Festival 2026

8 July 2026

On 9 July, architect Pierluigi Turco, co-founder of a-fact architecture factory, will be among the speakers at the fourteenth edition of the Kosovo Architecture Festival, the leading event dedicated to contemporary architecture organised by the Kosovo Architecture Foundation in Prishtina.

Running from 6 to 12 July, the festival brings together architects, researchers, institutions and practitioners from across the world around the theme “The City After – Design in the Age of Crises”. This year’s edition explores what cities become in the aftermath of crises, examining not only physical reconstruction but also the role of design in reshaping memory, identity, social life and resilience.

Architect Turco’s participation forms part of the festival’s international lecture programme and offers an opportunity to engage with architects, researchers and cultural institutions investigating new approaches to the future of cities. His lecture is scheduled for Thursday 9 July at 6.30 pm at Kino Armata, one of Prishtina’s leading cultural venues.

Organised by the Kosovo Architecture Foundation, which has been promoting international debate on architecture, urbanism and design culture since 2013, the Kosovo Architecture Festival has become one of South-East Europe’s leading platforms for contemporary architectural discourse. The festival is also part of the LINA – Architecture Platform, the European network fostering collaboration between cultural organisations, emerging practitioners and researchers.
