Home » Andrea Rossi joins the jury of the 2026 days of Architecture Award
9 September 2026
Architect Rossi will serve on the jury alongside Alen Žunić, architect, professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb and founder of ALBATROSS, and Michal Krištof, co-founder of the international architecture studio CHYBIK + KRISTOF.
Organised by the Chamber of Architects and Planners of Montenegro, the fifth Montenegrin Days of Architecture will take place from 2 to 4 October 2026 at the Music Centre of Montenegro in Podgorica. The festival brings together architects and professionals from across the international architecture community to explore current developments in practice and foster an exchange of ideas around the future of the built environment.
The theme of this year’s edition, NEXT looks at architecture in a time of profound change. It raises questions about designing amid uncertainty and climate crisis, as well as the evolving role of the architect in an era shaped by algorithms, data and collective decision-making. At the same time, it reflects on the growing importance of reuse and the transformation of existing buildings and places, shifting the focus from growth towards sustainability, circularity and longevity.
The Days of Architecture Award forms an integral part of the festival programme and recognises architectural work in Montenegro across three areas: best conceptual design, including unbuilt projects and projects under construction; best completed building; and best completed interior.
The international jury will select approximately 20 projects, completed buildings and interiors to be presented in an exhibition at the Music Centre during the festival. The selected works will also be included in a dedicated publication, while the awards will be presented during the three-day event.
